The OSU Summer Music Camp offers scholarship consideration for students with demonstrable financial need. Scholarship applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with a final deadline of May 25, 2020. Students can apply for scholarships before registering for camp and will be notified of their scholarship award by June 1, 2020.

Any students who participated in their state's 2020 All-State (or All-Area for Texas students) ensemble qualifies for $100 scholarship. For pianists, the All-State Scholarship will be awarded to applicants who have been winners in the MTNA or OMTA state piano competitions. (Senior or Junior High School winners are eligible). Students from outside the state of Oklahoma will be given consideration for the equivalent competitions in their home state. Please contact Andrew W. Parker (musiccamp@okstate.edu) with any questions about scholarships or the OSU Summer Music Camp.

One clarification: The All-State Scholarship is for placement in the large ensemble at All-State/All-Area, not for a Superior rating at State Solo & Ensemble.

Please contact Heather Lanners (heather.lanners@okstate.edu) with any questions or concerns about the piano scholarship.

The All-State ensemble must relate to the instrument that you will study at the OSU Summer Music Camp. (ex. All-State Choir will not count for the scholarship because you are not attending SMC for choir.)

You do not need to submit a scholarship application to receive this All-State award. Simply include documentation of your All-State/All-Area status with your application. This can be mailed with your application or sent to musiccamp@okstate.edu

If you submit an online application and claim the All-State/All-Area scholarship, you will see that the tuition amount charged to your credit card will not change. Once documentation of All-State/All-Area status is received to musiccamp@okstate.edu, you will receive a $100 refund to your card.

Private lessons are available to students for $15 for one lesson. Private lesson fees are included in tuition for students admitted to the piano camp.
